Faizan learns to respect his parents

Faizan was tired of his parents telling him what to do. “I don’t want to clean my room! Stop telling me what to do,” he shouted. “I’m going across the street to Adam’s house and you can’t stop me!”

When Faizan got to Adam’s house he saw that Adam was laughing and joking with his parents. “Hi Faizan! My dad just told me a funny joke and I can’t stop laughing,” Adam told Faizan.

“Come on everyone, it’s time for dinner. Let’s go and set the table,” said Adam’s mum. “It’s okay Mama, I will set the table,” said Adam. “Come on Faizan,” Adam took Faizan with him. “You’re such a good boy, Adam. Allah will be happy with you because you’re always helping us,” said Adam’s mum.

“Thank you Mama,” said Adam. He turned to Faizan. “We should always respect our parents because they do so much for us. They look after us, they feed us and they help us whenever we need it,” he told Faizan.

Faizan remembered how he’d been rude to his parents that day. He felt ashamed of himself. “Thank you Adam, I need to go home now. There’s something I need to do,” Faizan told Adam.

As soon as he got home, Faizan ran to the living room to find his mum and dad. “Mama, Papa, I’m sorry for being rude to you,” he said. “You do so much for me all the time and I should always respect you. Thank you Mama and Papa for always helping me. From now on, I will always respect you,” Faizan said and gave his mum and dad a big hug.

Moral of the story
